What Wheels Do you Have On Your 7th Gen
I couldn't seem to find a thread already on this topic but i would love to see what wheels other's are using on thier 7th gen Hondas. I current'y own a 2001 Honda Civic LX which i just recently replaced the stock wheels on.
Wheels are 17x7.5 ICW Racing 214MB Tsunami Wheels (+42 Offset) and NANKANG SPORT NS-1 225/45R17 94H Tires
Also had Brake Calibers and Disc Drums Painted White

215/45/17. You can see it in the second picture. But I'm using RSX Type R rear knuckles which push the wheels out a bit more than stock so it rubs

You can try it. But it generally is cheaper to just roll your fenders unless your tires are due for replacement. Once they are rolled once you are finished with it forever.

You need a fender rolling tool and a heat gun. There are places that rent the tool and it's easy to do but you have to be very careful not to damage your paint. I had to paint one of my rear quarters because the heat gun I was using was insufficient. My best recommendation to you is to search fender rolling. You will find a ton of info on it.

If you dropped down to 215s, you'd likely get rid of your rubbing issues. That's pretty much the reason why I havent tried on a set of Nitto INVOs, since the smallest size they offer is 225/45s. My 215s have no rubbing issues with my et42 offset

Just took an actual look at your pics on post one.. You're having rubbing issues with a very modest drop? Holy crap.. lol
I was damn near tucking my tires with no rubbing issues.
here's what my rear tires looked like at my lowest (before I raised it up just a little bit - adjustable coilovers). That's the apex (?) of the rear fender

OK, i will play:
Summer - 205/55R16
winter - stock 185/65R15 - I Personally like how the Black-on-black look badass, but in a night parking lot people don't see the car much, which is bad...
the plug on the grille is the block/battery heaters from my period in Quebec, if you wondering, but the Blizzak's tires should be a giveaway
or the canadian Tires in the background :P
Durvelle,
you could also try some front camber bolts, but unsure if you have the issue on fronts or rears (most likely fronts, tho, which is good since the bolts are a helluva cheaper than the adjustable rear control arms). It's a PITA to find alignment shops that know how to work on them, though
yer 4 hours away from me and Poopies?
PS: don't ask about headlights, the light output sucks...
