how easy is it to install a seat????

I will buy a racing seat, with slider and bracket pretty soon, just want to know how difficult is it to install them, what kind of tools do you need and what are the step to take the original seat out?? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Very easy.

Removal of OEM seat:
1)There are 4 bolts holding in the seat at the corners of it. Remove them.
2)Don't pull out the seat just yet.
3)There are your SRS clips in the bottom of the seat which must be unclipped
4)Remove stock seat from car
5)Your seat belt clip is held into the seat by one bolt which must be removed if you plan on keeping your stock seatbelt.
6)Get your new seat and mount slider/bracket set up to it.
7)If new seat allows use of stock seatbelt, affix stock seatbelt to new bracket/slider set up which is on new seat
8)Reconnect SRS clip
9)Put back in 4 bolts w/ new seat.................enjoy!
