If you think the lexus is too expensive, have you checked rates on importing a car.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is all I can say.
You have to keep in mind that the moment it hits our shores it has to conform to all of our standars, crash test, bumper regulations, headlight and taillight regulations, window regulations, and the most important is the emmisions regulations. From europe, their cars are not emmision controlled that is why they have stuff like the McLaren F1, and high-performance stuff like that. To bring one to the states you'd be shelling out a lot of money, more than 2-3 Lexus IS300's at least.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but people need to know that it isn't easy to get a car into this country that already wasn't made for our standars.

Sorry if this if offensive to anyone.

We just imported like 6 BMW Z-8, and they were over $10,000 a piece to get in- Redo bumbers to install proper lighting, new ECU, emmisions testing, install EVAP system with EVAP monitor, EPA has to check it over, if the suspension is too low, you have modify (most European cars!!)

Too much work- they took over 6 months start to finish!! Get the IS or something(Civ Si/SiR would be mucho cheaper)
