Rep Power: 0 for the price they charge you can get your factory head port and polished, 5 angle cut and a custom ground cam, and for a few extra hundred dollars valves and springs. the problem with gude is they use a stock cam but regrind it for a higher lift, that's the cheap way out. it should be made from a new core.

Rep Power: 0 I feel you. That sucks. I know you don't want to think about it now, but you have a real issue here. You paid a substantial amount, and if the quality is shoddy and the claims about performance are true, they better return your money. I would definitely talk to someone about this (i.e.lawyer!).

Rep Power: 0 i wish i could find the post on superhonda.com about a guy putting on the gude package on a 6th gen and losing power. Lots of people say that Gude is not reliable and their products actually do more harm than good. Gain a little top end but lose torque - shyt it sounds like a cat-back system to me - lol
sorry to hear about it what are u going to do?

Rep Power: 0 I know that VeNoMsCiViC is getting one also. If it sux there too, the 3 of you should get together and file a CLASS ACTION!
I don't mean to sound sue happy... It just pisses me off when you feel like you get screwed by a company and can't do anything about it. One of the beauties of this website is that it gives power to a large group of people who share a common thread. In a lot of ways I think 7thgen is like a union or fraternal order. There is and should be strength in numbers.
Find out who else has had bad dealings with Gude and go from there...

Rep Power: 0 i didnt need to hear this $hit. Not only am I disappointed in the performance of my car right now, i thought it would bring up to near 150- 160 but i was guessin wrong. Ill probably sell the car or find something else to do. Oh yeah and if I dont see gains of 45hp to the wheels, I will sue gude for false advertisement because I even asked them before I purchased the Head package that they guarantee gains of 45hp to the wheels and this was coming from mike gude too. Ill be really pissed if he lied to me, and im getting the car dynoed afterwards too to have proof.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah you guys should definitely get a dyno done to see where (if any) gains are to be confirmed with the Gude modifications. It would answer a lot of questions in addition to giving you concrete proof that Gude has not delivered and/or is giving false advertising. I mean, if it gives extra hp at the extreme top end and totally destroys the bottom end then Gude should have warned you guys beforehand.

Rep Power: 0 if it gave big gains on the top end we could use the v-afc to make up for the low-end loss - if only the v-afc worked to control VTEC. maybe apex-i is gonn make one that will allow us to control our VTEC engagement.
