Yonaka Catback exhaust:
Fit: 5/5
Power: 4/5 (noticeable power increase from stock)

Spec-D N1 Catback (Ebay 2.5" exhaust)
Fit: 4/5 Great, needs slight adjustments, some questionable bends.
Power: 3/5 Blame the D17, not the pipes...
Loudness: 4/5 Very loud until I installed an SRI
Very good system for the price.
Pros:
-Nice fit, tip diameter compliments the 04-05 exhaust bumper cutout.
-Polished Stainless is shiny!
-Deep, grumbly, throaty sound! Not ricey!
-Lightweight.
Cons:
-Droning sound going uphill. But disappeared with an intake upgrade!
-Low grade steel, will rust faster.
-Low hanging mid-pipe section, bad news for suspension drops.
Overall, I'm pleased, and at $115, not a deal-breaker at all! Budget exhaust with a bang! Just keep it well oiled up if you encounter road salts in the winter season.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
Previous exhaust was a 2.5" custome exhaust from catback with a 1 chamber flo-pro v-force muffler with a 4" stainless double wall tip, it was too loud and after 4000 rpms and sounded wayyy ricey
New exhaust.........
didnt want to spend over 100 at my exhaust shop to put a flowmaster 40 on the car... so i got on EBAY lol
i ordered a 3" catback of all things.... needless to say bolted up perfect, sounds amazing, and quite deep, btw if you are wondering, No loss of power and for only $99.95 with free shipping, seems like a good deal to me, whether the stainless sucks or not
4.5/5 on sound, (would be 5 but its a 4 banger) love it though

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
UPDATE!!!
So this might take a bit to explain... but now I have a FULL ebay stainless exhaust lol, sad part is CEL due to o2 sensor but oh well...
stainless 4-1 header, stainless catless downpipe (small resonator where cat would be) and a 3" catback with resonator and canister muffler/tip. Honestly...... it sounds amazing car is magnificently loud, and with the 3" pipe its growly, not raspy and farty.
Now on to the hard to exlain part... My bud owns a welding shop where which is a plasma cutter, so I had him make me 4 of the exact same 2 bolt 3" flanges. I had my Canister muffler cut off and had a flange welded to the original axleback piping and another welding to the canister, then I had another flange welding to a 80 degree angled 3" pipe with a stainless double wall 4" tip which pretty much makes my car fully straight piped aside from the small resonator in the downpipe and the resonator in the catback (compared to a gsxr1000 without a muffler) that one is for MESSING WITH PEOPLE/MAKING THEM MAD ONLY.. sounds horrible lol. And the 4th flange was welded to a bullet muffler and I had a 3.5" stainless tip put on it. Here are some pics of the car with each 3 diff pieces on it. SORRY I have no videos :'(
That is clearly the canister muffler that came with the catback
That is a view of the 3" catback pipe.
That is the bullet muffler with the 3.5" tip ( all it is is an oval muffler with a diamond shaped piece of metal on the inside that the exhaust goes around)
And thats the "loud-pipe" as its called where im from, I live in hicktown lol, so atleast 85% of the vehicles around here have an exhaust system on it, I just like being different and stupid, but the bullet and the canister sound amazing to me.

HKS Hi-Power Exhaust Axel Back
Fit: 5
Power: 2
Loudness: 3
I think it sounds great and has a cool sideways lean. Clears rear Progress with plenty of room to spare. No highway drone!

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
Mugen Twinloop axleback with 2.25in mandrel aluminized piping.
Fit: 5. Mugen portion fit perfect, hangars were already welded in place. Had the other piping welded up nice and snug against the body.
Power: 2
Loudness: 2.5. Smooth, deep sound. Louder than stock, but no drone on the freeway. Pretty much perfect in my opinion.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
I just installed the cat back 2.25" system from DNA motoring. It has a rolled 4" tip which I really like. The issue I encountered was the noise level, the droning drove me crazy! I had to go back to my mechanic and had him install the stock resonator and pipe. Now it has a nice rich deep sound which is not too loud or ricey and no droning. Also, it was all stainless steel but I wanted to be different so I spray painted it with 2,000 degree special matte black. I used two different primers, first an adhesive promoter (clear) and then a 2000 degree primer (grey). These products are for automotive use, not for grills and stuff.

Re: Rate Your Exhaust
Spec D Tuning $110 special catback exhaust- 2.5 inch piping, 4 inch tip, standard steel.
Fitment- 3.5. It doesn't fit as well as the stock one. I had to bend the heatshield under the car slightly to keep it from rattling, and the pipe hangs down a little. Really quite good for the price.
Power- Honestly not really sure, the car is an LX that I put a VTEC engine in, so the stock exhaust was too small for the engine. But when I installed the new exhaust, the power difference was amazing. The engine literally felt like it gained an extra 2 cylinders! The difference would not be nearly as big if it had an EX exhaust to begin with though, so for me it was 5, but I'll say 3 if you had the proper exhaust to begin with.
Sound- Too loud! It's too loud and it drones badly even at a steady speed. The dam thing never shuts up. It's slightly quieter than no exhaust at all though, so 4.
