Rep Power: 379 no... you will not get that much power from simple boltons, just save ur money and get a rsx type s swap., and you can work right now on the looks/sound area of ur car for now, but if you bought a vic for performance, why did you buy a ULTRA low emitions veichal?

Rep Power: 0 i can not use a K20(or rsx, rsx-s) if my perpose is to create a fast, economical, inline foor, sohc!! i don't need the brute strength of the twin cam, i prefur the lightweight(about 85 lbs) single cam, to the bulky k20. when i am finnished, my D17 (bored D18) will kick any "lard-weight" ***** K20.....

Rep Power: 0 i dont know why anybody would prefer a SOHC D series engine over a DOHC K series engine. Ivtec has way more potential, and alot more advantages i think. I drive an 02 Si, and all i have to say is that i will take on any D series motor any day of the week.
sacrifice the weight and get an engine that is a million times better than any D series...

Rep Power: 0 'superchips' claim to add like 10-15% hp... i dunno about that. i'd say you might get 5 hp out of a chip. but the real magic is on automatics, adjusts the shifting points.

Rep Power: 279 No, infact you cant do anything to you D17 cheaper for a K20 due to the fact that many parts are not out for the D17 so they need to be special order stuff. Also, with the same mods you put into your D17, put them in a K20 and the K20 would win all day long. K20's can be pushed over 400hp with the proper tuning and combo of parts, you will never get there with a D17, regardless of how much money you dump into it.

Rep Power: 0 ............and also it has a duel cam.....i no wante', you can not race a k20 in the 'single cam' series. it is a lot more fun and a bigger challange. the duel series races; a k20 will get blown away by a cellica or a focus or a vw or a bmw.......the list goes on and on. single cam is more "digressed" and is a more specialized class, plus it is usually more money to be won on an account of less pertisipants and more skill with engine building......

i don't know if you watch speed touring car races, but the RSX-S is rocking the feild. No focus' in sight... no celicas... no veedubs... they're way back in the field and the RSX-S is up front.
