ok so ive been reading and reading trying to find what could possibly be wrong and cant seem to find it.
i replaced my head gasket intake manifold and exhaust manifold gasket.
i had to take off the distributor and the i believe camshaft pulley up top next to the cap. i put everything back together all sensors are good and hooked up. currently i have the camshaft pulley at tdc i do believe.
i have been tempted to go rrent a compression tool this is my next step to diagnose any tips or any help greatly appreaciated.
and is there a way to check timing if your car wont start. and isnt the markings supposed to be on the belt? i thought there was supposed to be a white line and i dont see that.

ok new update, i got the timing aligned as far as i know and i asked the guy at auto zone and he agreed that it was. it still wont start. so i took my air filter off for some odd reason and tried starting it and held gas down to see if it would start and noticed a slight flame inside the air intake area. it didnt stay lit or anything but what the hell could this be from? and it also makes i bloop or blop sound if i hold the gas and try to start it. but not if i dotn do that. any idea? help is greatly appreciated.

The Pully's all have a line that should be all synced. Together, For example, check your main pully on the very top where the head is located remove the timing cover and look at the pully it will have a small line (should be noticeable). then go pully by pully on the engine each one will have the same line. All the pully should be exactly the same down to the last tooth.
