Ok Im not on here much at all I have an 02 civic ex and am wondering if this will work in my civic? I cant direct link but its item number 8040991684 on ebay. The part guy at my dealership told me I would just need a USA navigation disk which I can get from them as far as fitment he's not sure.. so?? Help please.

No, even with the US cd's it woulden't work. I've read about this on a couple of places.

the reason you cant get it to work is because a dvd region codes... north america is 1, japan is i think 2 or 3

this also for a 6th generation civic

both guys are correct..first its not the right generation so it wouldnt fit anyways...#2 japan is a different region code, if that is a region free dvd player than yeah but i highly doubt it
