Enclosure shape

Sorry if this has already been covered. I checked the forums and I didn't see it.

I've been searching all over the internet looking for the difference between enclosure shapes. There are a lot of different shapes out there, and it makes sense that different ones would produce different sounds. Can anyone tell me the difference or give me a link to somewhere that does?

i think it all comes down to is the required air space per specs of the sub but who knows
