What kind of components do you have to replace the stock front speakers?

Hello,
I am wondering what kind of setups you guys have for the front speakers. I want to get components but maybe I'll just replace the stock 6.5's since they get distorted very easily off the headunit. So any suggestions would be helpful. I've noticed a few suggest kenwood excelons. I'm wondering if focal 6.5's or mb quarts would fit our front setup. I noticed the mb quarts have 3/4" tweeters where our tweeter housings hold 1". So I might just replace the 6.5's with some really good coaxials. Thanks for the help.

The Quarts fit perfectly in there with some trimming of the flush mount, but if you are interested I might be selling my MTX 8000 components already installed, and all, can provide pics.

I have eXcelons(KFC-xr600), but there sitting here in their box, string at me, just like they've been doing for a couple months now. Haven't bothered to install them until I get the rest of my audio components, which is a cap and a RFbd1000.1 amp.
