Question something isnt right

one of my idiot friends put in a cd when the other one had not come out yet, so for a month i wondered why my head unit wouldnt eject the cd...and the reason was there were two in there. so i took it apart and fixed it, but another problem has come up. when i play the music loud with the subs, music skips for no reason, at levels it should easily reach. at one point the words wouldnt even play and all i heard was the subs, but the words kicked back in eventually. i dont know if it is an overheating problem, or a speaker problem with my 6x9's in the back. it might be a wiring problem. help is needed To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

If the subs keep going but the highs stop then it isn't the cd.

If you have components that have a safety on them maybe they are cutting out becuase you are overdriving them.
