Check coil resistance, could be a miss firing coil.

My 07 does that too from time to time, any luck finding out what is causing this?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Manual transmission?
Bogging: Too much load @ insufficient engine RPM. Pick a lower gear.

Hmm. How about excess or unusual vibration, instead of missing?

Maybe the use of the term "missing" is not the same as mine. I wonder if I would call it something different if I drove the car.

How about TCC shudder? Read here, first post pretty well described when he felt it:
https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...-vibrates.html

I notice this mostly on the "low maintenance" cars here.

That's like saying your heart attack didn't happen because you ate salad all the time.
Doesn't change the fact that it happened.

"Well maintained"? Your idea, your mechanics' idea, and my idea of that word may be very different.

How many miles on the car?
How frequently was the transmission serviced throughout the life of the car?

I assume you read the two posts in the thread I linked?

Is your issue similar enough to that description to be the same issue?

Have you done anything about it (like what I suggested the other person do in that reply) in the last...oh.. month and a half?

The rest of the answer is in my reply in that linked thread.
