Need new doors

Just found a grandma-driven 99 Civic CX Hatch (auto ) With just under 50,000km on it. She passed around 7 years ago and its sat ever since. Already fixed a couple things that were deteriorated after sitting around not moving or anything for so long.

In order to pass its safety inspection (Required in Ontario, not sure about other places) it needs new doors because the current doors, both passenger and driver's windows come off the track.

Just wondering, what can I get away with when it comes to buying new doors for this thing? Does it need to be from a 99 cx hatch? Or can I use sedan doors too of the same 6th gen?

Thank you ahead of time.

Trent

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Need new doors

it needs new doors because the current doors, both passenger and driver's windows come off the track.
Replacing entire doors seems a bit extreme. Why not just correct the run channel seals and window regulators?

Re: Need new doors

Like ezone said you probably just need to replace the regulators
