Thanks for the bump. My mileage has been getting progressively worse, and nowadays, my 01 civic LX is averaging 33 mpg. I've never had that sort of crappy mileage before. That's a 10 mpg difference. I average about 10k miles a year. 227 gallons of gas a year before vs 303 gallons now. With average gas prices around $3.50 a gallon, this mileage problem is costing me an extra $275 a year. I should figure what's wrong with the damn car.
For the record, my wife's 09 civic lx runs at 2k RPM's at 65 mph. It's about 2200 RPM's at 70 mph. We just got back from a 400 mile road trip to L.A., in hot weather and AC every so often, her car managed 44 mpg at the pump.

Changing the o2 sensor helps a lot!
