tokico blues? I use the Kayaba AGX, but most here recommends the tokico's.
Springs - I did the mistake of not measuring the car before the mods, so no idea how much it did change. but sometimes i get in some roads that makes me wonder if lower would be a real trouble. I prefer to have stiffer springs, but no or small lowering, though (compliance).
The tires i did prefer a bigger one, since i end up driving a lot (last trip was 1200 miles), and since the EX have shorter gearing, it would help the car in the end for longer trips (keeps the engine revs lower). But i would not stray too far from stock unless you know what you doing and what you really wants and understands how you use the car.

yeah, thats what kind of bothers me is if i lower it to much how will it effect my rough road handling =) am i going to have to put rock sliders on the rocker panels like my jeep to prevent body damage over the speed bumps etc?
you say lower RPM's but my car seems to like 2600-2800 rpm's consistantly(i think thats where the 70 mph rpm is) i managed 45mpg on a pretty smooth freeway
i'll look into the tokico's even though i dont care what they are just so as long as they work and they work well.

And i go around 75 to 80 usually when speed signs allows 70, of course! all depends on how you drive, like i said before!
the shocks recommendations is that the stock or similar ones are likely to blow when using lowering springs, if they keep getting hit by the bumpstops (lowered car = less suspension travel = bumpstops are closer to the shocks).
the KYB seems fine after 4 (?) years, tokico's seem to be fine too.
Using taller tires could keep the chassis a little further from the ground as well, depending on your road conditions.
