my o2 sensor is bad, CEL on with code p0131. i went to my local parts store and they quoted me $269+tax canadian.
anybody know the cheapest place to get a o2 sensor (upstream aka PRE-CAT) in canada or that will ship to canada for reasonable price?
also does it have to be denso? the one i just pulled out is NTK. not sure if it was the original one or if it was replaced by the previous owners.
i was able to find one here

but if anyone knows a better site or place to go in canada that would be helpful thanks.

Ideally either NTK or Denso will work. I got mine off amazon. It was $23. My local auto parts store loaned me the socket & i changed it in the parking lot.
Harbor Freight sells the sockets pretty cheap too.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: o2 sensor 2002 LX
Use whichever brand the factory put in it. If you pulled out an NTK and it was OK up til now, I'd go with it.
Visit the NTK sebsite to look up their part number for your car, then make sure you look for that part number while shopping

my local parts store was asking $269 for the ntk one and that was with my mechanic friend's discount.. i hate to imagine how much they usually charge for it there.. will check the NTK website for part # and try to find it that way. i am just gonna change it in my buddys driveway he has the socket i pulled the old one today just to check and the sensor was literally broken. the metal piece fell off the end lol.. im gonna take the exhaust manifold off and try to locate that piece that broke off i don't want it to puncture/ruin those honeycomb things on the cat.
thanks a ton guys!
