Aftermarket Lower Control Arms

I'm considering replacing my front lowers with aftermarket ctrl arms that are already assembled with ball joints and bushings.Has anyone had any problems with the aftermarket control arms?I see bushing kits but I'm thinking for a few dollars more the job gets way easier.I just bought the care and it needs some work but it still runs awesome. 180k kms.

Re: Aftermarket Lower Control Arms

Ball joints are seperate from the control arm. A new control arm assembly will only come with new bushings.

Good idea to do the ball joints while you have the control arms off. They are pressed into the knuckle assemblies.

Re: Aftermarket Lower Control Arms

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Do you need to get an alignment afterward?

EDIT: You can get the balljoint press tool from your local auto parts store for a deposit.

Yes you will need an alignment afterwards. Best to do a lot of the suspension stuff at the same time.
