Hey Guys,

Georgia Southern University's Eagle Motorsports is holding a car show on
November 13th. The show will feature cars of all types, trucks and suv's,
and motorcycles, both race style crotchrockets and custom choppers. Prizes
will be awarded to the top 3 cars in each class, which the exception of Best
of Show and Popular Vote, which will each have one grand prize winner.
Several local shops will be coming out, including Big Nasty Customs, Larry's
Hotrods, Sinkhole Customs, Pro Audio, and Yamaha of Statesboro. Proceeds
from the show will go towards building a car to enter the Formula SAE
competition in May which is held at the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan. The
Formula Car competition gives engineering students a chance to apply
concepts learned in the classroom to a real world situation. The team
designs, fabricates, and races an open wheel formula style race car against
over 120 other teams from other colleges around the world. This is only the
second time Georgia Southern has entered the competition, and the team has
an extremely limited budget. However, the team is made up of an extremely
passionate, dedicated, and talented team, and as long as the financial
obstacle is overcome, Eagle Motorsports will have a great car! Pre-register
by sending an e-mail to gsueaglemotorsports@hotmail.com. Any questions can
also be sent there and will be answered within a few hours. Hope to see you
at the show!
