Here are the diagrams you'll need to install and fix the vafc.

Parts you'll need: 1 - 2.5amp 1000V diode. Diodes at Radio Shack

1. First of all make sure you've got the vafc installed the way that apexi had it to begin with. (install it according to the original diagrams.)

2. Disconnect the pink wire (vtec solenoid signal output) from the green/yellow wire (vtec solenoid output.

3. Crimp (DO NOT SOLDER, it melts the diode) the side of the diode with the printed bar on it to the green/yellow wire.

4. Now crimp the other end of the diode to the pink wire so that you've got something that looks like the second diagram that i posted above.

5. Close everything up make sure your connections are crimped tight. Here are the settings i'm using:

V/T cont:
Lo >>> Hi = 4500
Hi >>> Lo = 4200

Wide Thr:
+3@4500rpm
+4@5000rpm
+5@6000rpm

everything works great for me. Here is a video of the vtec engagement. If you listen carefully you can hear vvvrrrrVVVRRRR on the first pass right before i get to the light post (i let off the gas 2 sec after it engaged).
VIDEO
