Re: Oil for Civic / Filter

Use whatever brand oil you want as long as it's the correct viscosity. Synthetic is great, that's what I use in my '03. I use the K&N filter because it has a bolt on the end for easy removal.

Re: Replacement IMA batteries

Oh. That changes EVERYTHING lol. Well, not really but I would hope the lifespan is longer than 5 years. Consumer Reports says 8 years/80,000 miles. You'll probably get more than that if you keep it...

Re: help with something strange when starting the car

So you're talking a "click click click click click" and not the god-awful screeching noise you hear if you try to start the car but forgot that it was already running?

re: Replacement IMA batteries

Warranty coverage for new batteries (full or partial) probably won't last you much longer than 5 years, which is a pretty average lifespan. Mileage is rarely a factor unless your battery is...

Re: Buying a Civic Hatchback - Advice Needed

I'll tell ya, the new hatch is MAD sexy. That said, are you sure you don't want to wait a few months for the Si hatch (or... the TYPE R!!! :vtec:). Leather is much nicer than cloth, although it...

Re: Problems with clutch after replacing some things and need some help.

Is it possible that there is still air in the lines? Like, did you do a VACUUM bleed?
Doing a quick search, I'm seeing similar problems when the axle(s) popped out of place. Looks like you might...

Re: 2013 civic AC strange smell

You could try spraying the AC lines with a bit of soapy water while the AC is on full blast... maybe you'll see some bubbles. Hopefully Honda has a more scientific approach!

Re: 1995 honda civic

Search around. Good coilovers are more expensive but higher quality and allow for more customization. Shocks/struts are cheaper but you can keep your stock ride height.

Re: Hi, I'm a noob to Honda and I have a few questions.

At the very least you're gonna need the head, cam (might want to consider upgrading to Crower Stage 1 cam (~10-15 additional HP) for an extra $400 since you're already in there) , ECU (computer),...
