Have you tried slim fans? Most ppl opt for those with this engine since their isn't much room in the engine bay,.

Did you inspect or drive the car before hand? Something must have given you a clue that the car wasn't right? I hope you can get it all fixed and not have to spend a ton of money :(.

If you drove on the pads to the point they were making screeching sounds then you'll probably need rotors. Generallly you should not need rotors on your first pad change as you can resurface them...

Correct 5w20 would be better in the winter for cold starting than 5w30, for example.

4000 lbs is too much, I would not tow that much. I tow my bike and 4x8 harbor freight trailer no problems on my 03 civic but everything probably weighs 1000lbs.

You'll know when you get the spring. When I had the koni's I could not use the top perch bc we couldn't compress the spring enough to install the shock and win I did the ass was like 5 inches higher...

Any engine can make power if its built, but the d17 is just not the best platform to make reliable power without spending a ton of money on the setup. For some it maybe worth it for others not so...

Not too much difference other then bells and whistles that come with the EX-L like leather interior, navigation, and heated seats, and alloy rims. LX or EX should be plenty good for your daughter....

I did the hawk brembo setup and the hawk pads were great but the brembos were toast after a year and a half. Now I have hawk and some prostop brand that Pep boys sells and the braking is amazing. So...
