Also, those sensors are fragile as crap. I accidentally overtorqued it once and it made it crap itself. Handle that thing like an egg. Drop it, it's probably not gonna work.

Front connects to the valve cover. It's the breather tube

If it's the one on the driver's side, should be a grommet for the IAT sensor.

I've made it a habit to check oil level (pull dipstick, wipe oil off, insert dipstick, wait, remove and check level) and smell the oil every gas fillup. Nothing better to do other than watch numbers...

That was my initial thought, too, but the fan connectors are wider than that. Not gonna lie, I've taken that engine apart many times and I don't readily recognize that connector. Now it's gonna bug...
