Show dates

This post is mainly for Erik as he was interested in knowing in case he was interested in going. These are in my opinion, the larger ones. There is another later in the year (interior usually at the stadium (ie what Gusto, Transformer_Guy, and others have/will travel for), but I don't know the date/cannot find it)

DriftMania - http://driftmania.ca/accueil.html?&L=1
Sunday, June 4 & comes back to Montreal Sunday, July 30
* Note, that Driftmania is a drifting competition that includes a Show & Shine portion for the event.

CarFever 7 - http://www.carfever.ca/
Sunday, June 18

Thanks Karim. Actually I don't really know if I'll be entering any car shows this season, as my car looks basically stock, but if you guys in Montreal decide to have a meet, lemme know Sheena and myself will make the drive if we can.

Ah - my misunderstanding on that then. Basically stock except big wheels and dumped on them right? ;) Though I'll let you know about any meets - though going at the rate of the last 3 don't except more than 5 cars (maybe then actually more come )

Though on this subject of a meet.. wasn't there talk about doing an Ottawa meet for Can-East?

JDMspark009 06-06-2006 07:59 PM

I registered

Pam when is the new weekend

Princess69 06-07-2006 09:43 AM

Pierre, I'll let you know..... they want to keep it for next weekend, but like I mentioned a couple guys have already blown there cars up.....

We are talking to Arnie to see if we can move it maybe to middle of July or something.......

And just for anyone that is going over the rules.... they have basically said that if you car is plated and you have valid insurance then bring your car out and run......

JDMspark009 06-07-2006 11:29 AM

Yeah the only thing wrong with the rules is for Turbo car they are not letting any cool down time in between runs... like as soon as your done your run you need to turn your car off well Turbo cars need to run a lil bit after for the berring in the turbo to stay lubricated...

EŽik 06-07-2006 02:38 PM

Pierre, tell me your not boosted YET!... g'damn

Karim, well if you tell they guys in Montreal far enough in advance that you want to do a meet and that some people from Ottawa will be coming to, maybe we will get a nice turnout.

JDMspark009 06-07-2006 06:05 PM

Not yet but sooner than you think

EŽik 06-07-2006 06:22 PM

good for you man. That car is pimped! Makes me want to go out and get a new engine to. I should hop on the bandwagon.

You going through Teknotik for the boost?

What about cars with turbo timers?

JDMspark009 06-09-2006 01:26 PM

but it states in the rules that after each run he car must imidealy be shut off no cool down times what so ever

EŽik 06-09-2006 03:33 PM

Guys can we get this thread back on topic?
