dna: dayum condesation sucks...i just noticed that my headlights have some condensation...imma hafta get on that before the winter!
on another note my "maint req" light came on yesterday. It flashes when i start up my car. Wonder what that is..any thoughs?

it means ur approaching the km for the next maintenance.. the more it flashes the closer you are.. oil change and all that good stuff

Condensation is a very good thing, just not in headlights/tailights, that sucks big donkey ****, Erik, is it fixed now?

they might of not reset it then, you can just reset it yourself

pharoh: when you installed you're progress kit, did you hafta drill holes into you're "wishbone" suspension shit? I was reading a diy and they talk about drilling and all that...what did you hafta do?

I didn't because my car came with OEM bars. If yours didn't than you would have to drill.. :(

Maintenance light....anyone?? ideas...ways to fix it?

so infront of my house they are building town homes, rigth beside that they WILL build more houses, but for some reason they paved a circular road there already, and man oh man is it fun, at 2 point it turns really sharp, now i am addicted, i go there and turn as fast as i can, to improve mt skill, but i cant get to go fast enough, that inner feeling that i will flip into the gravel always makes me press the breaks, but one thing i have kearn to do, is not go with my extints of pushing the breaks when i am skidding, instead i just let off the gas slowly, that way my back end doesnt fly out.

on another note, DNA says we are having a hurrican BBQ this weekend

Baller, the only reason the maint light comes on is because it is programmed to come on at major service intervals and as long as you have done all your minor/major service intervals, then, you can turn it off yourself bt holfing down the odometer button and turning the key in the ignition to accessory and waiting about 10 secs and it will go off by itself and then you may let go of the odometer button as well as keeping the key in the ignition on accessory.

The trigger happens at around 12K for the 16K check-up, and at around 30K for the 32K checkup...etc.


As for drilling holes: I don't think so, d00d. As of 2002, I thought the DX came with sway bars in the rear?

Just take a look at the back of your car (get on your hands and knees --no, not like that you perv!) and see if there is a sway bar.

It's pretty small, so don't be fooled into thinking it's not there if you see this tiny little thing :)

hehe, i like drilling. i got to dremel my car a little bit the other day to install my new horn. its pretty friggin loud. no more wimpy honda horn for me.

oh, and the headlights are in too. They look pretty cool, Caryn did a really good job on them.

K when he says it is loud just picture this. 3 hornes, yes 3. We have the El Grande, comes with 2. Then we decided to put the honda horn back on. Just to give it that little touch. Lets put it this way, don't cut him off or you might go deaf. He was even thinking with Jeremy there to rig up the whole light action. Honk the horn and the lights flash. We decided that was too much work lol.

Oh man, my crew mate installed triple trumpet air horns and I was driving with him in his passenger seat and then it happened. Someone cut him off within inches of hitting him and he blew the horns, the guy then got so startled he ran off the road into a tree. He or is car was not hurt, therefore this was funny as all get out. We couldn't stop laughing for days about this. Our pathetic little meep meep excuse me mr., could you please move when you get the chance for I need to get by and hope you hear my cute and fuzzy OEM horn in time for you to not mash into me is ALL OVER with air horns! YIPPY FREAKIN SKIPPY! :D

Well I hope so. I took the left light off and re did the sealing. So I'm hoping it will fix the problem! Either way I'll redo both lights this winter b/c I put my stock ones on.

Now i dont wanna seem like im idtching my civic crew, but if its gonna rain the mett will most likely be off..and then i should have gone on the trip. Now if it doesnt rain and i have made commintments to go on the trip them im screwed...what should i do?
