MrWong 02-17-2005 03:51 PM

I sold it for 3300

Sojsboy 02-17-2005 07:39 PM

that's a good deal

kornsined 02-17-2005 08:35 PM

i've been out all winter

Blue-Wolf 02-17-2005 09:08 PM

I'm out, and then back in. :hgrin:

Just keep getting tired of the winter drivers who need to be tuahgt how to drive.

My car isn't going to be out on the road for long. Going for a complete repaint and some new parts. Hopefully adding my rims and drop in the package. So I probably won't have the car out of the shop for a month.

Oh well, it'll look DAMN good once it is out again. Plus, I have to have a couple custom things done on it, that no one will see. :sweet:

If anyone is looking for a deal on suspension, I have a set of used Tein Super Street suspension for sale as well as a Ingalls front and rear camber kit. The items were installed last April, I am willing to let the entire package go for $1000 obo.

If you are looking for a shop that can install it for a good deal, once again Transform Spoilers can do it.

This unit will fit all 2001 - 2005 Civics. The 2002 - 2005 Civic will have to purchase upper mounts for the fronts. Those mounts can be bought from Honda.

Sojsboy 02-18-2005 01:38 AM

that's a really good deal considering the tein SS retail goes for $1290US not including shipping/customs/gst. and the camber kit was about $275 when he bought it if i remember correctly. so good deal.

kornsined 02-18-2005 03:10 AM

if only money did grow on trees......great deal

chrisgushue 02-18-2005 06:57 PM

OniChi 02-21-2005 07:10 AM

Well boys, it may look like I will be purchasing an RSX Type-S this summer. My goal is for around June-July. If my calculations are correct, financially speaking...

So does this mean you won't come and hang around with us 'Civic Losers' now?

dre2600 02-24-2005 01:11 AM

Got rid of my Civic a few months ago, I consider my new Mazda3 GT enough of an upgrade for this year.

ASIANPRIDE 02-28-2005 02:30 PM

chris...can you give me the specs and prices of the rotors u picked up.....

Well I'm thinking of lowering the car this weekend and straping on the rims....

During winter I got the Ingalls camber kit in...and that's about it....soo all I need now is the rear uppper strutbar and I'm set......

WOW crazy price on the TIEN's...I would buy it all only if I didn't have the full suspension already...kekeke

Blue-Wolf 02-28-2005 07:16 PM

WOOWOO!!

In 5 more days I will have everything I need to get my car started!! Buggars made a mistake so I have to go back and have the quote redone.

Oh well, just means I'll miss more of the crap on the roads.

I just hope the guys that appraise the car don't try to screw me. I have the new car clause in my insurance agreement, so they have to be nice to me.

18inchpride 02-28-2005 09:26 PM

the little vic is still sitting on blocks till april!

MrWong 02-28-2005 10:05 PM

Sojsboy 03-01-2005 11:27 AM

Have to set it up with yer insurance company I think. I don't know if they do walk ins at all. I can give you the number when I get back to Edmonton. I'm in Fort McMurray until Friday morning.

ASIANPRIDE 03-03-2005 12:00 PM

yeah I did the install myself....prob about an hour or 2....front bolt is easy as hell...it's just the rear that is a pain because you need to thread the bolts into the body at the same time you can't just do one then the other, or else it wont fit....

Oh and when u put the bolts in the rear be sure to tighten them extra tyte..because one of my bolts fell out...hahaha.....oh and another thing.. Alberta honda did my allignment, so that was wicked and they adjusted my camber perfectly...so I have no more bow legs.....but it was expensive like 160$ cuz it took them some extra time..but it might be less for you...who knows...get them to quote u an actual time....haha...

Sojsboy 03-03-2005 01:04 PM

ya shit, i still gotta do mine. lol. but hopefully it's easy enough, ever really tried anything like that yet.

Well, yesterday i went into Southview because the sales guy i was dealing with told me about the 2.8% deal they have going on right now, so I figured I would get some numbers and do some dealing. End result, it doesn't look good. Bastards can't meet what I want. So my Civic will be around for awhile longer. The only resaon I even thought of looking at the RSX is becuase my payments weren't going to be much more then what i am paying right now. I thought I would give it a shot.

Oh well, it's not the end of the world. So new rubber/rims are in the works and probably an exhaust kit. And IF possible, i want to get a Volant air kit. Hell even if i just get the housing with no filter i will be happy. Even if it is slightly used. Anyone know of anybody selling one?

Another question, what is the general ramblings about FRD Racing rims? Any good, are they too heavy? etc.
