Re: what caused overheating?

Well that's a really vague question.

Multiple things can cause overheating on a turbo'd Civic. But not mani design, a head stud, or a lean condition.

Are you having a specific issue? If so describe it. And please don't say, "My turbo'd civic is overheating".....

Re: what caused overheating?

i just had this problem. the water temp gauge goes up pretty fast. before that, i noticed that there was "hissing" sound under the bonnet. i used block guard by the way. after that i ended up changing my engine block, installed arp and injectors as well. cylinder head was damaged, and my engine block too.

what do you think happened?

sorry for my english. its not my first language :)
