bump for a nice set of lights. |
this might be a stupid question but would it fit sedan? |
i dont know about the black housing. I have coupe and i think there is a minor difference in sedan and coupe. I know for a fact that HID will work for both tho. |
how long has this been used? did you buy this set from a member here that lived in San Diego? |

Lots of interest, but I need to reread how they work, cause I forgot. |

used for about an year. |
hows the glare on the headlights and hids? |
How hard is this to install? |
all the wires are plug-in. All you need is zip-ties. Took me hour and half and most of the time was spent on deciding where to place the ballast. |
Is there a good place to mount the ballasts? I don't have the stock intake, so I know I can put the passenger side ballast where the stock intake ended, but what about driver's side? Also, what's the legal stance of this kit? Thanks. |
The placement of the ballast depends on the user preference. I seen people place them behind the bumpers, on the fire wall, anywhere you want. I do not know the lega stance of this kit. I never been pulled over for it. The nice thing about 43000k is that it provides the brightest output with white color. It looks very stock. Does that help? |
all aftermarket HID kits are ILLEGAL |

I've had mine there for years without any water issues. |
bump for a great kit. as you can see there is very little glare. prolly the best aftermarket kit available. and if he still has the papers it says DOT approved. http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid.../7/8177hid.jpg |
Thanks, gearbox. |
this is for hi/lo but pretty similar. mostly just plug and play http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...atzhid-med.jpg |

I dont want anyone to be confused. Also, the diagram shows everything unplugged. For my kit most of the wire hardness are already hooked up. Just have to connect the wire hardness to the ballast then to the headlight. Thanks for the Great info gearbox! |
Someone Buy!! |
did you get my PM, thanks |

thanks for the reply. I'm still debating because you used it for a year and your the 2nd owner so i'm not too sure how much bulb life is still left. Don't really want to buy a kit and then change the bulb right away ya know..those little things are expensive :_disgust: |
The bulb should have plenty of life left on it. I checked the website before i got them and i think those bulb lasts long time. They calculated the milage that its suppose to last for and it came out good so i bought them. |
Bump for the weekend |
