hey farley, my gf has a 97 camry. . . im trying to put some subs into the car. . .wanna go to a shop and see if they can give us a discount if we bring two cars and our own equipment? Say under 70 bucks? we split 40/60?

Yo guys, camrys have one of the easiest cars, besides our civics so install headunits, the car practically clips off like ours. You both should be able to do this in a flash as long as you have some knowledge in doing stereo equipment. Its not hard. Pretty much plug and play.

Here is the installation guide for 99-00 Camry. They might be slightly different but if you figure out they should be the same. Good luck!

i did a 97 camry b4... i'm pretty sure the dash part is all clips... just pull but dont blame me if you break something... but i'm like 80% sure its all clips

ProDigy 04-25-2004 01:07 PM

yea it's all clips, cuz i did a booty call switch on it anyways, i put it on the ash tray, well the button that is. It's all clips and it seems easy, but im installing subs

pull the ash tray out, pull the entire plastic bracket (has clips) and unplug the cig lighter, then you need a 12mm socket to take off four bolts. easy as pie. did it on a friends car, too ez
