Food for the February 21th Meet...
 

This poll will end on the 17th of February.

Alright i made a deal with the resturant, we are going to rent out a big room for our meet at the resturant, so pretty much we will have the place to our selves. I will be make absolutly no profit off of this... nothing, ziltch, nada, zip, zero...

We are going to get to pick 2 out of 5 plates that are going to be served and you get to vote on what 2 plates will be served at the event.

The total price for the food will be $12.00, the normal price is $15. This will include the combonation plate, soda, chips salsa, and tax and tip. This is about the same price as the last meet that Top Fuel had(average price for tax, tip, food, soda, and what not)... so for 12 bucks it includes everything, per person.

btw: rice is rice, no matter what culture you eat it from... so everyone will enjoy it...

The plates that we are going vote on are

1. Carnitas, rice and beans - deep fried pork served with onions and cilintro.

2. Chile Colorado, rice and beans - Tender chunks of beef in a mild, red chile sauce.

3. Two(2) Enchiladas(chicken), rice and beans - Chicken with a small amount of onions in a tortilla topped with a mild red sauce and melted cheddar cheese.

4. Armandos Chicken - Chicken cooking in a spicy ranchera sauce served with rice and beans

5. One(1) Enchilada(cheese), with Chile Colorado, rice and beans.

6. Carne Asada Burrito with rice and beans


personally i can't really pick one because i love them all... trust me, i think this is one of the best Mexican resturants in my community and most of LA, there are a very small amount of good resturants out there.

I have not clue how these plates tastes like. So I'll leave it too all my Mexican friends. Anything you guys want is cool with me. May the best dish win!

Is there a bar available?

there will be a bar avaliable IF and only IF there are enough people there that will drink, but i don't really want people to get drunk...

if not enough people will want stuff from the bar, there will still be achohal avaliable(beer, wine)... i will check further intothis, and of course everyone that will want to drink will be carded... i really don't have control of the carding situation...

we can have carne asada burritos with rice and beans. but not just plain carne asada, because we are feeding such a large crowd there wouldn't be enough room on the grills to feed everybody...

also, there will be alcohal served, this will be a additional cost to the food.

if its a tire between the "Chile Colorado, rice and beans" and the "Two(2) Enchiladas(chicken), rice and beans" im going to just choose One(1) Enchilada(cheese), with Chile Colorado, rice and beans

if the carne asada burrito is picked, its going to cost 14 dollars instead of 12, because of meat...

awww wtf asada is extra? i pay $5.25 for mine with no drink and i thought that was a lot.
