Nope. I donated a large sum of money to get a hold of these plates. I'm trying to recover the amount I donated. That's it.

How many of my sales have been actually profitable? Almost everything I've sold has been AT or below my cost.

Don't they usually give you a small "id member" card when you donate in addition to plates? This card, you keep in your wallet, and they can see it when you give them your driver's license.
And a membership is usually 600 bucks for a limited amount of time or something like 3000 for lifetime?

I'm just wondering if this is the same thing as a different association that my significant other has a membership to. If so, Alex, where do you get all this money to donate? Ahahaha. You're rolling in dough.

This is the general CA Sheriff's Association. :) Donation money goes to equipment, training, and other misc. activities.
