Yet Another Shift Knob Question

I know they're so many shift knob questions, but non match mine. I did some researching on shift knobs, and didn't like any I saw. My cousin in Maryland has a Anniversary Edition Maxima with the AE stuff. (shift knob, pedals, etc.) Anyway, I'm wondering, would it fit our 7thgens? Are shift knobs unniversal?

Rephrase: Will the AE shift knobs from Maximas fit ours?

well most all aftermarket shift knobs will fit on any car, it depends on how it attaches to the shifter, ive only come across 2 different kinds, the twist on type like our oem ones, which give less problems and whatnot, and the kind with 3 screws... the screws will come loose, but it usually lowers the shifter donw like an inch or so, find out what kind it is, the one with the 3 screws will fit all cars, the one that twists in, might be iffy

AE = Anniversary Edition. I thought I clarified that when I typed "ANNIVERSARY EDITION MAXIMA" before "AE" so no confusion would occur. Guess I failed, but now you know..so h0lla bak
