Just wondering who has the fastest Civic and what the mods are.

16.2 better time on the 1/4 mile bone stock! I've heard a lot of better times...!

im not fast now cuz i just got 18's and im putting on my body kit now but give me a 1 or 2 ill have a turbo hopefully if they come out with one :cry: i hope to be in the top 5 or so. ill try. :)

well I will say it might be riceburnerex because his turbo set up. but I might be wrong because I know there are alot of guys on the bottle so not to sure but I think riceburnerex is.

What kind of horsepower could a new Civic put out with a turbo? What kind of track times?

10.14 in the 1/8. Kind of curious about others' speeds as well.

who ran a 10.14 in the 1/8th...in a 7th gen?...lol..

You do understand that I'm talking about an eighth mile and not a quarter mile right? A 10.14 isn't that hard in an eighth mile. As far as I know...

The fastest car here goes to S2000man01. Rides stock and does high 13s.

Then there's HondaGuru with a 2000 Si who's best time was a 13.9 on the bottle I think.

The fastest 7th Gen could go to htowncivicEX with a K20A2 engine swap. Should do better than an stock Type S which is a few 100 pounds heavier. Who knows. Could hit high 14s.

yeah i think numberonehonda's engine is not only turbo, but has reworked internals also. and i dunno about moocow, but he's got turbo on his car also.

If I remember correctly moocow had only 5 psi boost running. I dont think he would be considered the fastest but among the top. His RSX by the way looked very nice at thet last meet we had.

You dont have to have boost to run fast times... the cheapest horsepower can be free. the only thing i have on the inside of my car is my driver seat and the dash. I went as far as taking off the entire A/C (compressor and all piping) as well as the P/S belt. NO other seats, carpet, all that plastic interior, radio, speakers, spare tire and seat belts. I havent gone as far as to take out all the sound deadening material but have thought about it just not thinking it would be worth that much trouble. I wanted to take out the sunroof but the techie at the track said i had to leave it in ( not like i would know how to get that out anyways without breaking it)

Stock body kit, rear tires at 40 psi, front tires paradas (which i had a hard time not getting wheel hop with and had to red line launch finally to get them to stop hop hop hopping) Performance parts wise just check out my profile everything else that was on my car is in there. No, i didnt spray right outta the hole either as soon as the tires hooked up i hit it and shifted right in to 2nd and kept on spraying right on down the track.
Doesnt anyone else really go to a track often??? You will never be as fast on the street as you are on the track!!!!

Oh, and i havent done anything irreversible to my car ....Yet..... the entire interior can be put back in just like it never left. but it will be blue when i put it back in. :tup:
