Highest Mileage on your Car Trying to find out how good civics are and how many miles they last. who here has the highest mileage/km that still running strong no problem? whats the longest mileage a Civic can reach? im looking to buy so I am trying to get an idea about mileage. |

Re: Highest Mileage on your Car My 05 Civic is still a baby. It has 231K miles on it. I replaced the engine with a D17A2 that I built, but the BMXA transmission is amazingly still factory. The trans is actually for sale on the “for sale” section of this site if you’re interested. Other than struts, bushings, sensors, alternators, brakes and other basic stuff like that, it hasn’t really needed any major repairs that were it’s fault. I have done some upgrades though, see my profile for details. I’ve had it since it was about a year old and I’ve done all the work myself. I’m keeping it forever!:) |
Re: Highest Mileage on your Car 05 honda civic dx sedan .. bare bones manual crank windows.. 320k miles, still original engine and transmission.. I lost recently reverse, but all forward gears working. still driving it... ac still works , original compressor, alternator everything. burns 1 qt of oil recently every 1000 miles.. i think i can make it like this to 400,000, then i will put rings and used tranny.. and keep it as a winter car. |
Re: Highest Mileage on your Car My 97 has 243k my 02 vti had 649k when sold the 01 went through 8or 9 clutches several timing belts water pumps and 2 head gaskets due to the miles |
