D18A2? What?!

Anyways, I love your car. This has one of the best stances I've seen on a 7th gen sedan. I love how it sits!
By the way, how does that lip look in person? I'm thinking of getting that one too to prevent scratching the OEM bumper.

Yes they only made 1 D18 :roflmao:

TYPO!

The lip looks decent. its Polyurethane so its not shiny I will get it painted eventually after I get my skirts. for 50$.... well worth it.

I'm still looking to go LOWER! im a bit nervous only cause im rubbing on the splash guards on deep turns... how can I go lower and not totally remove the splash guards and also not rub on the fender........

I have also been looking at inverted tie rod ends. Is there more than the T1R option out there?

THANKS! Glad some of you like it!!!

The headlights are actually both ebay AND Retro.

my stock ones were beat. So I ordered some off ebay and had my brother in law put MUCH better projectors in them. Cost me about $350 in total(I didnt pay for labor). I wish I knew what he did or what projectors he got cause they look great. I was away on business when he did it. Took him about a week (hes unemployed / self employed) haha.

I think I am going to sell off the rims / tires in the pics and go back to my stock 5 wide spoke after I recondition them. Then I can go lower and tuck without rubbing or too much camber. They are great wheels but I want less rim and more tire.

Yup! Looks pretty cool! I won't install it until I get my fogs and coilovers installed, just for ease of getting under the bumper. Oh, and I sprayed it with Armor All protectant which gives it a much darker and shinier black surface.

NO NO NO Fighting.....

On another note... Washed, Clay barred, and waxed the Vic and my rims yesterday.

Also maxed the drop in the back for a nice tuck and dropped the front another half inch (will drop more tonight).

Rolled the front fenders and cut a small section of the splash guards out to allow a front tuck. I will be re modifying the splash guard to make it fully functional again but its good for now.

Crappy iPhone pic but ill post another when i make the adjustments tonight and I can use a REAL camera.

Finished the final adjustments on the drop all I need is another alignment (thank god for lifetime alignments for $200)

Washed, Clay barred and Waxed (including rims) 3" drop in the rear 3.25+ in the front.

Nice, love that stance, even more so with the further drop.
I wish I had an alignment shop with that kind of deal :FUU:

A lot of shops do have it... Town Fair tire, Sullivan Tire, firestone, pepboys etc.

call around. Its a fantastic buy ESP when you have coils like us. I adjust and align, drop align, align want more camber.... go back and align... haha

I have had 4 alignments in 2 months. I got mine at Sullivan Tire and the shop manager used to race and helps me out big time. Very great deal...

Now I need side skirts....

Re: TFMEX ES2 "Build"

When you installed that lip, did you have to remove the thin rubber strip from the bottom of the bumper? Or does the custom lip just sit in front of that?

TFMEX 05-08-2012 06:12 AM

Re: TFMEX ES2 "Build"

Mine ripped off WAY before I put the lip on so im not sure.... i removed the bumper to put it on as well so I could get the best alignment on it.

All I did was line it up tape it into position with some duct tape and drilled some starter holes then screwed it on. took me maybe 15 minutes.

From ratings 1(shitty) through 10 (woah)

how would you rate your skunk2 coilovers? Do you feel they are a bang for the buck?

TFMEX 05-08-2012 09:19 AM

Re: TFMEX ES2 "Build"

id give them a 7.5 overall. they arent as bad as everyone says. quality is great in my opinion. I got them for about $700 new (I got a deal).

They ride stiff (thats what I wanted) They are easily adjustable and can be adjusted decently soft for a set of coils. They are on my DD and I enjoy them. If you have the money I hear Progress or Koni with GC's are the "higher quality" setups but for me I couldnt beat the price point. Im also not tracking my car.

Ride comfort=7 (for coils)
adjustability=9 (im dropped almost 3.5 inches)
quality=8 (again, my opinion and I know there are better products out there)
install=10 (super easy)
Durability=??? I have had them for 4 months.... so far so good!

It has been pouring like a MOTHA here in New Hampshire the past 2 days and have another 2 days of shitty weather.

I PROMOSE some nice CLEAN photos when the rain breaks. Im ditching the ebay exhaust on friday (only paid $55) for it and getting a custom one done so prolly this weekend so then I can clean it up and show off the new exhaust too!

Even I could tell you that.
It's really simple, you hold the lip in place with some tape, then drill the provided screws to hold it in place. It's probably easier to do when the bumper is taken off, but you don't have to do that. Also drilling pilot holes will prevent the screws from cracking your bumper if you do a crappy job lining them up.
