EJ1_MK Build 23 Attachment(s) So here is what I started with: I have already added the steering wheel and the GPS but other than that she cam the way she looks. I will post more as I get pieces in the next several up coming weeks. Here are todays pictures: Attachment 100824 Attachment 100826 Attachment 100827 Attachment 100828 Attachment 100829 Attachment 100830 Attachment 100831 Attachment 100832 Attachment 100833 Attachment 100834 Attachment 100835 Attachment 100836 Attachment 100837 Attachment 100838 Attachment 100839 Attachment 100840 And yes there is a screw driver in the picture it is where the pin needs to go. [hr]Well the control arms and spindle didn't get done today so I was at a stand still. Pretty bummed out right now hopefully he can get the bushing and the new wheel bearings in by mid day so that I can get the car on the alignment rack before 3 tomorrow. Will post more pictures as soon as more parts get put on. And as of Today: Well so I got the car on the ground to adjust the suspension, and get the ride height set up all around. Got it close but have to wait till the alignment is done until I can finish. Attachment 100841 Attachment 100843 Still need to finish the brakes, the front pads where wrong of course, just another snag but its ok, gives me time to put my new master cylinder and prop valve if I can track one down. I will list my mod list as soon as I write it all done and what my plans are for the car. |
Re: EJ1_MK Build Wow, that's clean as fcuk. Good move with the heat wrap on your intake, most people refuse to do that because they don't like the look, but it works great. |
Re: EJ1_MK Build Coming along nicely, at first I was like hey what happened to your steering wheel, then I Saw it on the dash lol |
Re: EJ1_MK Build Thanks I hope to have it back on the streets soon and then get some professional photos done. And I most people don't understand the painting or wrapping the intake will cool the air going through it. Warm air in an engine is not good for performance. Re: EJ1_MK Build Good move on the 24mm ASR rear sway, nothing improves handling on a Honda better than upgrading the rear sway. Which k24 do you have? I have a k20 currently, but I'm debating selling it and buying a k24a2 or building a k20/24. Gotta love the cost of modding/building k-series engines compared to b, d and h.. |

It is a k24a3 i believe I got it pulled apart and been sitting on the stand since. Been looking all the parts im going to need to put in the car and that is the part that is killer, to make power your right cost to build it is way cheaper than all other honda motors. |
Re: EJ1_MK Build is the k24 a JDM OR USDM , The jdm one got more power i beleive |
