new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

Got em for $200 off craigslist, they're a little bit beat up but i think they will clean up. Also, do you think the bronze will look ok on my car? Let me know what you think.

no worries. i forgive you. but only once tho. lol :giggle:

and yes, we can only see one picture of one rim... bronz rims usually look good on almost any car...black, white, blue....

I agree stockies are better. and in that ONE pic of the rim it looks like its bent.

Stock rims look really nice actually. Gives it more of a luxurious look.

Re: new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

I think for $200 that's a great set of rims. I'm interested to see what they look like on the car seeing as how mine is the same color. I was toying with the idea of bronze rims but just couldn't do it.

Re: new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

Yeah I like my stock rims too, I just wanted 17s... but yeah one is slightly bent, he showed me when i bought em and said it balanced fine but even if it dosent I got em cheap enough that I would just pay to get em fixed if it came to that. Ill post pics of them on the car as soon as the snow is gone

Re: new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

just put the bent wheel in the rear and u wont notice that its bent

Re: new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

can anyone tell me what lugs to get for them? The wheels are enkei rs7 and i have no idea where to find lugs that will fit. Also, is it normal for them to cost 10 bucks a piece? cuz i really dont want to spend another 160 bucks on top of what i already have into these wheels...

Re: new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

Re: new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

Nice man i was getting worried, do you know if they will fit the wheels though? The stock ones were too wide and the wrench didn't fit in to tighten them

mkymonkey 03-08-2011 05:24 PM

Re: new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

thats why these are longer! ;)

Blox forged aluminum is super legit. Shaves off 1.6lbs a wheel compared to stock nuts. I have a black pair and love it

Doesn't look too bad in terms of matching the car but it definitely needs a drop.

Haha yeah i thought about slammin the civic but i dont have the money for coilovers and if i just got springs id be beat cuz the 4 seasons of PA(almost winter, winter, still winter, and construction) would make my car undriveable. I dont think it looks all that bad the way it is now though, i get a lot of complements on it. I deffinately would do a drop though if i could.

Re: new rims: 17" bronze enkei's

lol i was just messin with you, it looks good and once you lower your car you're pretty much gonna mess it up so take your time and enjoy the satisfaction you get from your rims.
