Drop and rims! <--edit: yes, in that order. lol.. or both at the same time :sweet:

Bust open the headlights and black 'em out (or body color the bezels if you so desire), body colored hood and trunk trim pieces (instead of the chrome-ness you got)

You got the tint and spoiler so you should start off with rims and a drop first.Then work from there.

Depends what kind of rims.As for lowering springs,prices range from $150-about $300.

rims: depends.. with rims, you'd have to get tires, unless you stick with the factory 15" rims, and that could cost you anywhere from 400 to a couple thousand for rims alone, then another 400-800 for tires, depending on size and performance.

A decent drop (~1.5") done properly would run you about $600 (plus $100 +/-$40 for an alignment), and it's really easy enough to do the labor yourself (except the alignment).

As for the second part of my original post in this thread, the headlight painting would run you 20-30 in materials, as would the body colored trim pieces, unless you decide to get them professionally painted. I would say get the coupe counterparts for the hood and trunk moldings, but the coupe never came in the radiant ruby pearl color.

To black out the headlights and tail lights,the spray would cost around $20 maybe?Not too sure.

I, personally, am a fan of Buddy Club P1 Racing wheels

here are the P1 Racing SF challenges.. 15x6.5's would run you just shy of $150/rim

20-30 in materials. To be more specific, 6-8 bucks for a rattle can of some sort of black, 12 for body colored (from automotivetouchup.com), a few bucks for some sandpaper, 4-6 for a can of clear if you so desire, and another 5-10 for materials to seal 'em back up. I would highly recommend 3m windoweld to re-seal them, and that would run you 10-15 bucks.. I couldn't find it in local auto stores, so I ordered some off amazon.com for like.. 13 bucks.

For rims since you want red and black,IMO,Tenzo DC-6 V1 are nice.

Yep. You can make 'em any color you want.. the headlight comes apart in a few pieces, the housing, clear lens, and the chrome bezel. That bezel piece is what you'd paint. You can make 'em straight up blacked out, smoke them using "duplicolor metalcast smoke," etc..

that thread gives you an idea of what you gotta do.

edit: Step 9 shows you the pieces taken apart. I think you'd have to tape off the parking and turn signal reflectors, and make sure you use the "delicate surfaces" masking tape so you don't mess up the chrome reflectors. I can't be too sure.. I haven't had stock headlights in 6 years.

I have a step down from those rims on my car right now (P1 racing SFs instead of the pictured P1 Racing SF Challenges). My rims are pretty lightweight at 17.5 lbs for 17" rims, and at a pretty good price for rims.

thmotorsports.com has 'em for 143/rim for the 15x6.5's. I highly recommend that site (as well as dezod.com for other stuff) because they used to be the best vendors on this site. Plus, if you keep ordering with thmotorsports, they give you discounts for being a "loyal customer"

Rims and tires alone would run a grand.. drop (done properly, i.e. springs AND struts) would run you about 600.. and the BOH would be, like I said, 20-30 bucks.

I missed the new tires part. Good call.

Rims (specifically, the p1 racing sf challenges on thmotorsports.com) would run him $572 plus shipping

Drop (Tein S-techs and Tokico Blues from Dezod.com) would run him $650 ($630 if he uses the "7thgen honda" [minus the quotation marks and space]) plus shipping

BOH, worst case scenario @ $40 bucks :shrug: lol

so yea.. I'd say $1350 for everything, including shipping costs and worst case pricing shit.
