Want some LEGAL headlights for my '01 Civic
 

Hey guys,

Totally new to the forums and just spent the last hour reading a bunch of DIY's and a bunch of threads. I recently bought an '01 Honda Civic. Had a lot of stuff already done to it, so that's pretty cool.

One of the things I would like to do is get some new headlights instead of the stock headlight bulbs. But HID's are supposedly illegal?

So can anyone point me to a link where I can buy some bright headlights that will fit my car? I'm not into the blue or purple headlights. I want more like a diamond or crystal white color.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Try Sylvania Silverstars, you can get them at Autozone. Be prepared to replace them within six months to a year though. Aftermarket bulbs typically don't last very long.

philips xp from www.powerbulbs.com are the brightest legal 55w H4 bulb available on the market. its a clear bulb, whiter than oem, and much brighter. lasts about as long as the regular bulb too.

I have these on my car and they work great. Very bright and does not have any color tint to them.

thats weird....ive never heard of hids being illegal at least not where i live anyways. As long as its not red, green....etc they tend to not care. I mean im riding with 4k yellow hids and my old lady has high and low beam 6k blue hids. Idk?

alot of cops dont care, but yeah its illegal in every state. FL seems to be very lax with regard to lighting mods.

i live in canada so we'll see how long it takes.
