Re: new member..just got it...

i say 2 routes depending on your budget.

1. coilovers, lip kit, bolt on, and OH.. new wheels.
or
2. K Swap, Turbo, coilovers, and call it good

the cheapest way to drop ur car will cost you 1000 bucks.

the correct way, that is.

springs 300
struts 400
camber kit 150
alignment 80

^thats already $930 without labor.

labor ranges from 100-200 for install.

now....if u want to do it the incorrect way, it will cost you

springs $300
OEM stock struts $0
camber kit $0
lets say labor 100

total: $400 WOW! so cheap!!! yay!

however, a little while down the line, say 6 months:
new tires (because u didnt get an alignment and now have premature wear) $400
camber kit $150
alignment $80
new struts because ur OEM will blow 400
installation $100

total: $1530 and a big headach form waste time/money

the best alternative is to get coilovers because they are much better than springs/strut combo

tein basics 800
camber kit 150
alignment 80

total: $1030 and a great handling that far surpasses spring/strut setup

u get my point?

you pick what you want to do

cheapest way would be to buy used springs from someone for $100 and install it yourself.
