My Civic's Story I think its my turn to show my pictorial of my civic. October 2007, picked up the car all dirty, washed it all up. discovered it was covered in dents and stone chips. came with a sh**ty cd player, but it did the job for the time being. http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...602_2_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...602_1_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...602_4_full.jpg first mod that came was a new cd/mp3 player (Sony Xplod CDX-GT510), nothing major, but did enjoy the mp3/wma capability. https://img49.imageshack.us/img49/2296/img0581mj2.jpg winter came and my car transformed into this: https://img49.imageshack.us/img49/2900/img0579aw8.jpg as winter went by, had the following replaced: - new control arms - new struts (stock) - new ball joints - new links around march switched to my summer rims (on my bday, wanted to roll in style with friends, lol) https://img241.imageshack.us/img241/9088/img0600nj3.jpg https://img204.imageshack.us/img204/7323/img0601du6.jpg finally in april some modding began, started with H&R lowering springs and INJEN Short Ram Intake. followed very shortly with the black out housing for the headlights mod. http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...602_9_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...602_8_full.jpg Then found a good deal on a Type-R rear lip, which got me started on the my lip kit, picked up a few days later Type-R skirts and the Altezza Grill http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...02_13_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...02_14_full.jpg about a few weeks later picked up a new front bumper along with a Type-B front lip http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...02_15_full.jpg finally my car went to the body shop to get all dents fixed, trunk shaved, mould the front lip to the front bumper, and some more body work https://img368.imageshack.us/img368/...sc00128zt6.jpg https://img74.imageshack.us/img74/8126/dsc00127kv2.jpg in between i got my hands on an OEM spoiler, dropped it off at the body shop, got that painted and installed as well, and today i picked up the car, finally after 2 weeks of waiting for it. https://img56.imageshack.us/img56/8425/img0795dy4.jpg https://img294.imageshack.us/img294/2972/img0797yn5.jpg https://img72.imageshack.us/img72/8518/img0794el4.jpg i hope you like it so far. |
Re: My Civic's Story nice car, nice timeline lol. im not feeling the rims go smaller 16 or 17's and definately go lower |
Re: My Civic's Story nice looking car....but the rims have to go! |
Re: My Civic's Story I agree wheels seem to stand out like a sore thumb but the rest is sweet. Paint looks real nice. |
Re: My Civic's Story looks a hell of alot better from when you first got it |
Re: My Civic's Story i agree with everyone else, those are some ugly ass rims |
Re: My Civic's Story paint looks awesome.......now get better wheels! |
Re: My Civic's Story wow last pics look great, rims match nicely |
Re: My Civic's Story crazy ....we have the same front and rear lips... now get aero side skirts and our cars will be identical |

crazy ....we have the same front and rear lips... now get aero side skirts and our cars will be identical btw, thanks to everyone for the input, i appreciate your opinions, but for now i'm planning to leave those rims, they will pull away attention from my non-impressive brakes  besides, what i have now are 17's and the spring combo might not look low enough, for after winters go on, the car will sit lower anyways, and with our winters in canada, really cant afford to go any lower, i'll be plowing my street like that. |

was thinking to get exhaust just to fill in that hole in the rear lip, but i dont want anything noisy, something quiet. |
Re: My Civic's Story ride is looking real good. but i agree with everyone else, need better rims |
Re: My Civic's Story Very clean looking. Everything flows good except for the rims like everyone else has said. Wagner :shake: |
Re: My Civic's Story rims ruin it. Looks like my car, how much did u pay for the bodywork? and paint? did you have a good shop do it!? |
Re: My Civic's Story well look forward to trimming around that lip! I have a greddy SP2 and I had to shave a large portion of the opening off because it kept hitting the tip of the muffler. and thanks a lot, if I ever do get a spoiler it'll have to be something that sits low, OEM is too high for me. |
