Next Purchase?

Hey you guys, I finally got my windows tinted and I am approaching finishing my Civic (Looks wise) but I want it dropped about an inch. I don't want nothing drastic because 1. the roads around here are horrible 2. i hate that look where the car is almost sitting on top of the wheels. So I've been looking around and I've asked before on here and I think I'm going to go with the Eibach Pro Kit Springs to lower it an inch front/rear. Good decision, bad? Any problems or anything with these springs..or just any other recommendations?

Thanks guys!:)

(I'll take pics soon :])

i love mine now. with the tokico shocks all around, i have a solid 2 finger wheel gap all around on my sedan. with stock shocks, the rear sagged alot and front was raised it looked so weird.

Re: Next Purchase?

About the sagging..has anyone had that problem? because I'll wait til' I have enough money for shocks too if I have to worry about that.

Re: Next Purchase?

my rear was always a tad pit lower after the install. not really noticeable unless you measure it.

it's not bad unless you have a crazy system in the trunk:shrug: .. and I wouldnt worry about the shocks at first, they're ok so long as they're still good.. you need a camber kit too:tup:

I have the sportlines. Love the drop and they're not too low or too high...just perfect.

I have the pro kit and I didnt realize how sexy it looked until walking back to my car today getting dinner for my girl. I will say that even with the pro-kit I think I am still going to have to grab a camber kit before I bring it in for an alignment. Although...it doesn't feel like it needs one.

Re: Next Purchase?

you always need camber kit because stock cant adjust lowered car. the alignment shop said they couldnt even align mine without one.

Re: Next Purchase?

let me know who needs camber kits.

eibachs are good springs, but i would go a little lower if it was mine. Tein is about the next best as far as not a real drastic drop. I can get a hella deal on skunk2 springs. let me know if ya interested. Nice ride though as it is.

Re: Next Purchase?

springs, shocks, camber kit, and alignment. should do it all at the same time to save on install $$.

KaotiK TrendZ 08-19-2007 11:23 PM

Re: Next Purchase?

installed my own and paid $80 for alignment/camber adjust.

of course that was on an 06 si
