Well this is my first experience with an aftermarket intake. I have the whole cold air piece along with this ( i just didn't use the second piece, so it's now an sri) but it's not bad. Feel a slight increase in the higher range of RPM. But I would probably prefer the V2.. from what I have read on this forum.
Yeah.. don't have to worry about hydrolock and getting a bypass valve.
The install was very easy. Just unscrew the nuts and then lay the strut bar on top.. tighten the nut onto the strut.. and there you go. About a 5-10 minute install. Anyone can do it!::D

You should def get one. IMO, it is a great investment. I got this for a great price too!
