LT2004ever 04-25-2007 09:20 AM

Re: Paint Grill??

the thought has passed through my mind alot, but nothing is definite. what would a cf hood have n e thing to do with it?

Rennen 04-25-2007 10:37 AM

Re: Paint Grill??

Re: Paint Grill??

ifs its the altezza grill, paint the trim your car color, else it will look ugly and cheap

Re: Paint Grill??

yea if it looks like ^^ his grill or mine, you should paint it. i think a paint shop only charges like 20 bucks to paint it matching the car. or you can do it urself. but like ^^ said just paint the trim of it and leave the center mesh part black. ive been meanig to paint mine but im just a little lazy.

I left mine black. I think it looks good. If you do go with Clover Pearl I would like to see it. Let me know if you do.

Re: Paint Grill??

What did that run you to get done. Did you just take the grill in or did they do it on masked?

Thornedleaf 05-12-2007 11:28 AM

Re: Paint Grill??

Re: Paint Grill??

please stay on topic. it cost me $40 to get it painted. i just handed it to them and the shop did everything. you can probably find someone to do it cheaper, but probably not by much.

Re: Paint Grill??

Yeah true. I might do it myself. Such a small area. Might be able to find the paint in a spray somewhere like pep boys or advance. Im going to check into it. looks more matching. Rennen you may have talked me into painting it. Maybe.

Re: Paint Grill??

hey guys like if i clear coat it after i apply the paint, shouldn't it be smooth enough so that i don't have to sand it???
