There is no way that thats dropped 1.3" its gotta be more. What size rims and tires are you on. I measured today with my 205/40/17 tires i have 4" wheel gap in the back and 3.25" in the front. That means after rims i should have just under 2" in the front and about 2.7" in the back. Your car looks like there's only one-1.5" all around so how does that work. Suspension is so confusing to me. I only wanna drop my car a little bit but it seems like the manufacturers cant even figure out how much they're going to drop.

he's got a 25.1" wheel diameter. yours is 23.4". so that makes a big difference.

^^^he's right you gotta remember i'm dropped on 18s, lotsa more rim.

Hold up let me try this post thing that electric130 just taught me:

https://www.civicforums.com/forums/n...reply&t=291556

haha I got it!!!

If you had the same H&R setup the top of your tire would be about to where the crest of my rim is..

^^dang, why didn't the pic work, all I get is that fvckin questions mark?/????

jamis33 03-13-2007 09:31 AM

Thank you guys so much. I guess that would make up that extra inch of diameter. Im still debating which springs to buy tho the pro-kit or H&Rs cuz i can get a set of used H&Rs with about 3000km on em for $75 or i can spend 200 and buy a prokit. But for the H&Rs id probs need a camber kit.

Kevbotron 03-13-2007 09:58 AM

^you will need a camber kit for either drop... I'm paying the price now for riding on a lowered car w/o a camber kit:hithead: (prokit)

lowering springs last forever tho.. you should get the H&R's imo.

Vexorg 03-13-2007 10:26 AM

how come no one is bitching about stock shocks , i thought if you switch the stock springs, the shocks have to go as well..

Kevbotron 03-13-2007 10:31 AM

^depends on the amount of drop, if you go something like 2" or more drop.. the shocks will blow very quickly.. but if you do something mild like 1-1.75 they seem to hold up...

I replaced mine because the ride sucked.. the blues make me feel like stock again:D:D

ok well im not tryin to argue but i have read on this site and i'll quote "There's only one spring kit that doesnt need a camber kit and thats the eibach prokit" and this was comin from a pretty reputable member. But i guess if i need a camber kit i might as well buy the H&Rs
