just finished puttin on the procivic garret t25 turbo kit.. big pain in the ass, way harder than they made it look.. let me know what you think though

junhyuk 03-08-2007 05:26 PM

how many horses will u be getting with that turbo kit?

speedricerx 03-08-2007 05:58 PM

damn i'd be scared driving around with the ic piping so low

ronaldo9 03-08-2007 06:01 PM

Hey man I think you should contact ST8RACE. He's having major issues with that kit. It looks like you got it installed with success. Congrats on being boosted.

skipbarber 03-08-2007 06:04 PM

you need to work on wire management. otherwise, good work.

familycar 03-08-2007 06:12 PM

i agree wire management would be ideal, looks good now get it on the dyno quick

03-Acura-1.7-EL 03-08-2007 06:46 PM

I think you've installed your IC piping in some weird way.
On my TSI kit it all hidden iside the bumber cover and not visible at all. I think you did not slice the intercooler deep enough between the rad and the metal bumper part.

LT2004ever 03-08-2007 06:55 PM

lol good first post... but yeah what psi? what hp? etc..

lxcivic2k1 03-08-2007 07:03 PM

I haven't seen that kit before but congratz on the turbo  Might wanna think about a front lip to hid/protect the IC piping cause they hang pritty low.

Oh and the usual....hp? psi?

Eyger 03-08-2007 07:29 PM

That's cool man, way to go. That would be nice if you got some nice polished piping for your intake.

RHCP0801 03-08-2007 08:27 PM

damn that ic piping looks wrong

account 22 03-08-2007 08:31 PM

It's becuase he wanted ot keep his foglights

_unclejuice 03-08-2007 08:34 PM

im not liking the flexible ic piping. looks like a 25 cent kit imo. the intake pipe looks like it would be a bitch. whats the price on one of those compared to a dezod kit?

ronaldo9 03-08-2007 08:42 PM

2400 from procivic i recall 500 more bucks and you have yourself a dezod kit with more hp and less headaches.

camstheman 03-08-2007 08:59 PM

its the HX model.. didn't really look into it too well when i bought the car but i already have it so i'm makin what i can out of it.. the kit said it should increase the hp by about 50 percent so i should be about 180 or thereabouts.. i looked at the last boost and it said 8 psi.. i'm new to the whole turbo thing, its my first one so i'm not too educated on the whole thing so i could be wrong.. yeah we just finished it yesterday so there's still things left to do.. we're looking into a better intake pipe, no clue on that though cause its a really tight fit so we might have to make one ourselves.. the ic piping does hang real low, we had to notch out the bumper and stuff to get it to fit but i kinda like how it hangs down and i don't really wanna do anything to the body cause i kinda like the stock look.. the whole thing is a really tight fit.. we bought the procivic one because it seemed a little more complete than the other one.. still more things to do though like i said, gotta dress up the wires and all and i'm waiting on an O2 simulator because the new sensor set up is different

drunkenmagnum 03-08-2007 09:52 PM

nice! enjoy

ST8RACE 03-08-2007 10:09 PM

NICE KIT, I HAVE THE SAME ONE. COME CK OUT MY THREAD AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK.I SEE ON YOUR KIT THE IC PIPES RUN DIFFERENTLY THAN MY KIT. WOULD LIKE TO COMPARE NOTES AT SOME TIME. HAVE YOU DRIVEN YOUR CAR YET ? AND DO YOU HAVE ANY HESITATION PROBLEMS OR MISFIRE PROBLEMS. LET ME KNOW THANKS .

RHCP0801 03-08-2007 10:10 PM

why do you always type in caps lock

account 22 03-08-2007 10:30 PM

Or Maybe His Shift Key Is Just Stuck Down? Haha

SPUNKYcivy01 03-09-2007 12:41 AM

Nice kit. Keep us updated on hp, psi, tq, etc..
Also, what kind of fuel management/engine management are you running?
Also, who is tuning it? Let us know

looks good. congrats on finishing the project. post up pics of a dyno!

Rennen 03-10-2007 12:20 AM

this is what a tsi intercooler should look like. you have it sitting way too low.

camstheman 03-11-2007 03:48 PM

TRIZ 03-11-2007 04:21 PM
