finally installed my tinted tails... Hey everyone, I recently bought some tinted taillights from DJRabbi from this forum and he asked if i could post some pics. So here it is...looks pretty nice on my car. I honestly wouldnt have known it was tinted if you had not said anything. |

looks good, i like how they are not extremely dark, but enough to be different. hey DJ, if u come on here and look, tell us what percent u got them tinted. |
Tint the windows next and it will look hotter. |

Not fan of dark tinted tail lights. "Oh crap, I got rear ended and can't go through insurance, because i screwed up by tinting taillights, they are not DOT approved" Zero penny from Insurance Company. |

Yup, this is one of the only ways that being rearended can be YOUR fault. But with the percentage he did, I would imagine he used VHT Niteshades tint spray. You can get it however dark you want depending on how much you put on. You can also clear it and buff it so that it shines like paint. |

Here's some responses to your guys remarks... kevbo - dude, i'm in MA and I already have tickets to the first Red Sox/Yankee game at home so can't wait! fullgrown - i'm planning on dropping my car as soon as i get some nice rims... 2k1civic01 - i'm definitely gonna keep my old tails, just in case...sorry PD Chico - i want to get my windows tinted, but in MA the legal tint is only 35%. My friend got his tinted and honestly it looks almost the same to me. I wanna try to keep my car as much legal as possible. rev125yz - i could have tinted my own tails but i would much rather have the OEMs too as backup just in case. thanks guys! |
