this that an 06 or an 07 GT

CplJon 01-29-2007 04:44 PM

Its an 07, we bought in December and there were no 06's around.

BlueRevs 01-29-2007 04:48 PM

put some flowmaster 45 series dumps on that biatch and she will growl like a tiger instead of a pony

joescivic02 01-29-2007 04:54 PM

hell yeah thats clean! im waiting for my 09 camaro to come out!

CplJon 01-29-2007 05:02 PM

Thanks, the camaro is going to be bada$$. We're going to put magnapak's and a larger H pipe on it, not terribly loud, but once the warranty is out, its on like donkey kong.

lxcivic2k1 01-29-2007 05:06 PM

lol, nice. I love the sound of most mustangs with a good exhaust system on it

hwt101 01-29-2007 05:13 PM

bassani makes a sweet sweet sounding exhaust tone for the pony

djrabbi 01-29-2007 05:18 PM

Taffy 01-29-2007 05:54 PM

Nice man! Now all she has to do is manage to keep you away from it...:D

spoonEM 01-29-2007 06:01 PM

Nice. Now give me a call when you want to build a 9" for it. haha. We also have aluminum drive shafts, billet aluminum control arms and all that good stuff. We just released them to the public.

Heres a link to the parts. lol

Finally you saw the light! lol jk
If you want an awesome exhaust on that bad boy come to
MustangExhaust.com
You can hear clips and Im a OG in that site... Also from what Ive heard SLP is the way to go with them since its a axle back. Flows seem to sound like stock on them. Go check the site out! Info on your car, exhaust and everything in between. Lots of members there too! Youl see me there.

You can run dumps on that GT... It has a Axle back not CatBack..which means You cannot dump. And Flows are quiet on that car anyways. It would sound pretty stock. and 45 series are quiet... loudest is 1 chamber flows but what you mostlikely would hear on a stang with flows would be 40 series. 40 Series is louder than 45. :_beer: :2pimp:

Thats what I got....  Its expensive as hell!! its all SS!
I got the Race version. Loudest one out there!

Mustang5.0HO 01-29-2007 06:34 PM

Oh yeah
Get a O/R midpipe on that badboy! Its gonna wake up whichever axle back you get! O/R H for that muscle car sound, O/R X for that NASCAR sound or a O/R ProChamber for that smooth chambered muscle car sound... its quieter than a O/R H pipe thought

EM2 Shinobi 01-29-2007 06:54 PM

im not a fan of mustangs but that looks pretty sick all black and tinted.

Yes, I am deep into that forum, its great for research. Theres a decent muffler shop here that will do a magnapak system with a custom X pipe, but I would really rather just get a bigger H pipe and keep the torque and sound to sacrifice the minimal HP but that system is 775 OTD and I've heard a couple, they sound really nice.

When we can afford a G35 for her I'll be taking the Stang and my civic will go towards the new G, once this happens I don't know the specifics just yet, but I would really really like a Saleen or Whipple SC on her.

Thanks, I have been hurtin for it. When I bought my civic new I was to get a black one however the day we went to pick it up, they said it hadn't arrived so I got the titanium. I had this perfect vision of a black car, super dark tint, and black rims and since I couldn't live it out with the vic I am taking that obsession out with the stang.

Mustang5.0HO 01-29-2007 08:15 PM

Some black DD Bullits would look awesome on it..

Funny you mention, one of the most bada$$ sounding exhausts I've heard from youtube was a 2005+ mustang with a complete open exhaust only having a Bassani X pipe and 2.5" piping all the way out, it sounded retarded loud. I would love to do Bassani or Corsa however they are a little pricey, but then again its probably worth it.

You read my mind, in fact its pretty sweet but my wife really wants the black bullits. Americanmuscle has the 18X9 DD which look wicked. I would love to have a 10.5 in the back but since its an everyday driver I wouldn't be able to rotate the tires and I'm sure I'd burn through the back ones quick. As soon as the Pirelli's that came on it wear out, we're going to do that.

Black 2005+ Deep Dish Bullitt Wheel (18x9)

Mustang5.0HO 01-29-2007 08:31 PM

yeap... you know what you want. haha.
By the way. You should come over to MustangExhaust.com sometime to ask any questions regarding your car. Youl get really good info for your car from Exhaust to which springs. By the most people over at MX that have 05+ stangs seem to love Borla Stingers! They sounds awesome on 03's and such and I guess they also do on 05+.
REMEMBER You have 3valves runing not 2valves like 03 Stangs.. So the tone and sound will def be different than any other year stangs. But it will sound badass nonetheless

Mustang5.0HO 01-29-2007 08:36 PM

If I ever get a 03' Stang I will put this exhaust on it.. Of Course its also TT and its a Saleen and its cammed but nonetheless it sounds AWESOME!

When you want to get the supercharger...let me know. One of my really good friends works over at Saleen and can get REALLY good deals on some parts.

I find it ironic that I work around muscle cars all day at work, and all my friends work for some well known speed shops and big name companies, all of which dont benefit me at all since I drive a damn civic.

Thats cool, I will supercharge it in several years once it has around 80k miles, I plan to get a daily driver truck, nothing special, and keep the mustang as a toy-- a loud, scary, no emissions, supercharged toy.:hgrin:

I can re-gear it for you. lol. I work at Currie enterprises during the day, which means I can even get you a deal on all the parts.

Mustang5.0HO 01-30-2007 09:24 PM

Well I have the parts. I have the gears, gear oil, and a install kit. I just need someone to install them. :)

What gear oil do you use, Royal Purple???

Our mustang is about to roll over 2500 miles and we are changing from the stock motorcraft to Royal Purple. Wasn't too sure if gear oil made a big difference or only if you change the gears thats its beneficial.
