my baby fresh out the paint shop ok so the first time i put pics of my em2 up, it was dirty, the rear bumper was burnt, and the front was all scratched up. well im done neglecting her. i pulled her in the paint shop and shot the bumpers with a fresh coat of white, gave her a nice bath, and took her for a ride. not the best pics but i was in a hurry and that was the best location we could find. it was about to get dark. http://www.unclejuice.com/images/em2_7.jpg http://www.unclejuice.com/images/em2_8.jpg http://www.unclejuice.com/images/em2_13.jpg http://www.unclejuice.com/images/em2_14.jpg http://www.unclejuice.com/images/em2_17.jpg |
looks nice |
Looks sick bro. Love white 7thgens, the tails go perfect with it. Resize the pics though, their huge. |
i almost bought a blue one when i bought this one. thank god they sold the last blue one in stock they day before. |
Everything looks good except the foglights. You definetly need to get the OEM style foglights cause those just don't look good. Other than that everything looks good. Oh yea, nice mohawk. lol |
yeah im hatin the fogs. i want some oem style amber ones. i just have to find out how they mount because i cut the original black shit out of that hole to mount those. |
now buy projectors from me lol |
Hmmm... so you cut all the way to the white on the bumper? If you're just talking about the center part that pops out, then you are still ok, because the lights just have a small tab at the end that fits on the inside of the bumper and a bolt to hold tight. |
i cut it smooth to the white part so there wouldnt be anymore black around the edges. |
Oh, well I dunno if OEM style will still work. I'm sure you could still figure out some way to make em work. |
yeah i can make a bracket or something. i want the euro rear fog too. |
looks good |
Yea, same here. That would be bad ass. |
hey with your grill did you take the whole thing off or did you just take the black plastic grill? wonderin cuz i really like the way it looks |
yur car is tight man, keep it lookin that way |
i took out all the original black honeycomb and replaced it with black powdercoated mesh. the mesh is hard as **** to see and its in the big opening at the bottom too. this is off topic but why are you here if you have a '98 vic? you got a 7th gen too? just curious. |
o i got ya......lol nah i dont have a 7th gen but iv been looking at getting one and doing a bunch of stuff to it so i just was lookin at other cars to get ideas and stuff |
if i had it to do over again, i wouldnt get a 7th gen. takes too much money to get tiny gains. i will say the 04-05 are the best looking civics ever though. but they are slow as ****. |
well if you bought this car cause you were looking for speed and power it was kinda stupid |
i bought the 7th gen because everyone around our shop was talkin about the 7th gen and how you couldnt do anything with it. so i went and bought one to prove them wrong. its taken a year and a half of ownership, but parts are becoming available. its just way more expensive than building an ls/vtec or b16 or some shit. i mean 6 grand and you can still barely drop 250 whp is sad. |
yea i know but at least it looks nice |
yup, your civic is pretty clean- new paint is just so awesome. How much did it cost for the bumpers to get resprayed? |
nice car i give you props your headlights fogging up |

Haha well they look good with any color. But I like them the most with white is what I meant. |
the car looks great but pictures could be better |
^hey korn, just noticed you have the kamanari rear lip with the center done in black too... looks good ;) but back to the topic, the new paint definetly looks very fresh... u gotta fix ur headlights though... or its gonna get very dirty on the inside. Nice hair too ! lol |
headlights are out. took them out the other day when i pulled my motor out. and triz, for a new rear bumper and paint on both bumpers, it was $1400. i was going to spray them myself but i couldnt get the white to match. took my paint guy 3 days and about 20 trips to the paint store to get it matched. they only gave one formula to mix the paint by, and it was way off. |
^ doing a k20 swap?? ;) whoa... $1400 dollars? thats insane |
not doing a kswap. hydrolocked the motor and bent 2 rods. just rebuilding the a1, doing an a2 head swap, and a few other bolt ons. $1400 is worth it too. its flawless. |
