estebomb_ftw 11-25-2006 08:31 PM

haha yah you are completely off......'67 Shelby Mustang Fastbacks are most comonly called the "'67 Shelby". This is more called a AC Cobra............it isn't a real one so its not worth a lot.......if my dad would own a real one, i probably wouldnt own a Civic hahah. the real ones are worth $250,000+.

Real ones had aluminum bodies and the kits are fiberglass

haha i know.......my dad modified the body and cut and rewelded the frame just so he could fit 10" wide wheels............i didnt think they would be that huge though! they look amazing though

SOAD 11-26-2006 09:39 PM

dp_yz713 11-26-2006 09:49 PM

haha thanks for the info and yea i know the real 67 shelby's cost around there if you do own a real one since those are pretty rare as well. it's just i'm not very good at telling the difference with the old school american's.

yah the '67 Fastbacks are going for outrageous amounts

this is actually a "65 Cobra" although its registered as a 2006 lol

xkimsungminx 11-27-2006 01:33 AM

good luck finding one! and if you do, its probably rusted through and through and will still cost you out the ass. i like the '67, but find they are way to played out. i would take a '66 over it anyday! hell, even a '70 Mach 1 (which my dad had for me, but sold it :()

haha yah. he got it inspected on Monday and got the paperwork done the same day. Wednesday,Thursday, and Friday I could only drive with him. and then i was eating some Whompers and hes like "you can take the car. i dont care where you go." i replied "what???" he replies "you heard me!" lol so i took it to my friends house and then i drove a little while longer :) he got to order a new fuel regulator because the one he has isnt working right......stops pumping fuel :-bs:
