dynomat alternative ok so ive had an urge to dynomat my trunk to help out my 15" L7 in a 4.5 cubic ft box but all the shops charge an arm and if i go buy it it still is expensive.well a friend told me about this stuff at home depo that does the same as dynomat but cost a lot less. $15 for a 10" x 40" roll.you canfind it by the insulation stuff.its some sort of window and door sealent. be sure to buy the one with the aluminum top.i just thought ild share this with yall. |

What about stuff called fatmat? I see it on ebay all the time like 100sq ft for like $100 + shipping? Anyone have experience with that? |
FaMat works well as long as you install it correctly. Well that applies to all sound deadeners I guess. I have FatMat in my sedan. 100sq ft was enough to apply one layer in the trunk, four doors, and in the cabin under the carpet. If its subwoofer rattle you want to get rid of I highly suggest you tighten your trunk seals and see if that helps first. |
